Rothenburg 2

Window shopping in Europe is significantly more interesting than in America. This is the window of the Kathe Wohlfahrt Christmas store, world famous for their decorations, ornaments. The most beautiful Christmases are in Germany. Hopefully we can do that someday.

Later that first evening, we took a tour with the Night Watchman. In short, he tells the history of Rothenburg and helps you to relive the medieval days. Mac was very interested in learning about the middle ages, and here he's enthralled listening to how miserable life was back then.

Rothenburg is surrounded entirely by a still intact city wall, with several large towers at certain points. You can still walk almost the entire perimeter of the city on the wall.
