Beach Dawg

Haven't posted yet in June....better get one in here quick. Missy gets us up about 5:30am these days. That's about when it gets light, since we're at a rather northern latitude. Yesterday morning I obliged, and took her down to the beach. The winters can be long, but this is the time of the year we really enjoy living here. It was 98 degrees in Portland today, but we were quite comfortable here. Only got up to about 70. What a beautiful part of the country we live in.....it's always green, the waves are an audio security blanket, and how can you not love this scenery! We're about a 5-10 minute walk from the b-e-a-c-h (we can't say the word, cause Missy knows what it means). Lucky us, this morning we ran into her buddy Kylo (the Siberian Husky across the street) and they chased each other around for a while and exhausted themselves. When she gets warm, she likes to try to bury herself in the sand, hence the sand all over her in the photo.
